MidWest Horizon
A downloadable game
Midwest Horizon was originally released for Farming Simulator 19 by Txzar Mapping, and instantly became a hit in the North American Farming Simulator community, the map is based on New Bremen, Ohio, and offers great opportunities for building your own farm of any scale. For Farming Simulator 22 I opted to change as little as possible on the conversion to preserve the style of gameplay that was this map’s claim to fame. With 127 fields, and numerous static farmyards, your options are endless, so buy a pickup truck and go exploring to find your new home on Midwest Horizon!

Any chance on adding more crops? Like like lentils, peas, rye, millet, and green field oats?
interesting how you made the Silage corn 30' rows and the regular corn like 15' rows... shouldn't it be the other way around??
extract the files and follow the folders maps/mapUS/data/foilage once in the foilage folder you'll see two maize folders and one will be labeled with a 2. Flip the names on the folders. I went back in game and my silage corn was the 15" spacing and corn was 30" spacing. Hope this helps!
example:
maize ----------> maize2
maize2 ---------> maize
i may try that in the furture. for now though i just swapped out all the corn textures for the ones in the Taheton county map
maize2 is the filltype for drycorn
I'm confused, I thought this was a Row Crop Ready Map?
nope there is a rcr version but i took it down
Can I ask why? I am playing it with no issues as of yet.
no sell points
Could you add silage corn like on the map Monteith? Because the corn on the map is way to close to each other, it's like 10 inch row, the one on monteith is 30 inch row. You get normal corn to harvest with a combine harvester and you get some silage corn that are 30 inch row too. Hope you can add that in the future!
It is RCR Iam not having any problems
i've been getting that error in my log for a few weeks when i'm adjusting my nitrogen on this map, i've tested on different other map and it's only with midwest, both your version or the one originally publish by Diniz.
I don't know if you have any idea of what could cause that, doesn't break the game but it flood the log pretty sirously. I also had a compatibility issue with the new version of crop rotation that just goes crazy when you switch day & broke yourgame. Although i do not have the error in my log anymore saddly as i revert back to the old one.
Here the error from the nitrogen with precision farming.
DensityMapFilter: called from dataS/scripts/internalMods/FS22_precisionFarming/scripts/maps/NitrogenMap.lua (710)
2023-08-20 14:23 Error: Invalid object parameter in DensityMapFilter.
I'm loving this map, thanks for the edit, i love it!
I dont recommend using crop rotation
Ill have look at that
Will you ever add the abaility to have animals in the animal barns on the map?
I did not make the map i just added to it. I did not mess with any Barns or animals on the map Sorry.
Oh no no no, your all good man. You made this map 10x better anyways.
the corn textures are great! but the soybean textures... they seem way to thick (dense) imo. definitely doesn't look like soybeans planted using a row crop planter.
it is at 1st and 2nd stage
no it was harvest stage. its all good though. swapped out the textures for 30" spaced ones from a different map haha
which map did you take them from?
Hanna Indiana by Large H mapping
Thank you!
does this version still have the conflict u were talking about or is this a fixed version?
From the time it shows you posted this, it should have been his original upload. According to his FB post from 3 mins or so ago the new one is now up for download with multi T angles with the fertilizer problem fixed.
